A gay friend of mine once noted “Of course it was God’s big joke…….to create nine sexes and then tell people that there were only two!”

Perhaps for those of us who won’t be at the Opera House……a “closet ” of trannies might be appropriate. :D

Just a hate-filled rant…..why give it the time of the day? Even bigots are entitled to an opinion, but better they keep it to themselves perhaps. There seems to be no point to rubbish like this other than self-aggrandisement. It serves no positive purpose and I continue to wonder at the need for some to spew needless hatred at others. It makes me very sad!

Certainly have a wide range of tastes don’t we? My tastes have always been wide but I always react to the mood rather than use music to create it. This post did cause me to think, though, how little I actually play keyboards when en femme. It’s almost like music is a separate interest. My femme side doesn’t have a separate musical taste although I can understand that it would work for others.

My big favourites are Joe Jackson (for the last thirty years) and Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen. (Jon’s at the Basement in October).
Recently we have become fans of a couple of Sydney acts – the hard rockin’ “Chase The Sun” and the amazing one man band Claude Hay, after seeing them at the Vanguard a few weeks ago.
    Rock on girls!

The memory is so vivid still, even after forty odd years. When I was very young my sister and I had a dressing-up box full of old clothes which we would play games in. As I became more “boyish” the games gradually dwindled away.
Then when I was about thirteen or fourteen my parents began to leave me at home by myself when they went to do the weekly shopping. One such Saturday, while looking around for mischief, I discovered the box and began to rummage through it. I found a red satin dress that my cousin had worn as Red Riding Hood in a pantomime and I put it aside. Then I found the matching red satin knickers and the light bulb went on in my head! I couldn’t get undressed quick enough and by the time I had the knickers and the dress on I was more aroused than I had ever been before.
The liking for satin and silk has stayed with me ever since but I will never forget that glorious Saturday afternoon.
