Christina Camplin Reed There’s no such thing as “boarding in female mode”. It’s just boarding. There’s not separate check-in or lines or such for females versus males… What are you expecting to be different? As long as your IDs match your boarding docs, you’re all set.

    Demetrius Craig
Demetrius Craig No worries Shanalee. Princess is very accommodating to all. There won’t be any issues. Just show up and board the ship!

    Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises Hi, Shanalee. We’re excited to welcome you aboard! Guests must book using the name as it appears on their legal travel documents, but you should not have any problems at check-in so long as we can make a positive match to any government-issued photo ID. All guests are addressed using their preferred name, pronoun, or title, and our Guest Services Desk can issue you a Cruise Card with your preferred name.

OK GUYS THATS IT ..GREAT RESPONSES ..WHEN DO WE GO ….SUGGESTING 22nd OCT 2018 its a mon start

    Hi all
More good news ..reply from travel wholesaler..clean cruises

    Hi Shanalee,
Apologies for taking a couple of days to get back to you, but I have some good news!

I’ve checked with a few of our account managers and they have come back advising that it is possible to make the booking as per the names on the ID’s and present as female.

I checked with, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises. So you have a few choices of cruise lines and it doesn’t have to be just a domestic cruise.
P&O and Princess both offer the cruise to nowhere – 2 to 4 nights, where Celebrity have a little longer cruises. So it will depend on what you all decide.
Have a look at the cruise options and chat to the ladies and we can take it from there.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need more information and we would be more than happy to help you and the ladies get away for a holiday!

    Kindest regards
    Rae

    SO When..
    Is the next question
    Let me know your preferences
    Regards

    Hi All
just got off phone to Royal Caribbean
    NO problem
advised that if we let them know what cruise we
were taking they would advise the relevant ship
    details of our boarding
NO problem as far as I could see …if i got
back to same person he would arrange for cabins to
    be together..basically very helpful

    Hi ALL
here is the official details of ID required when boarding
    recd via Caroline/Geoff

Australian Domestic Cruises (Coastal – includes Tasmania and cruises to Willis Island)
Government issued photo ID is always preferred for check-in and should be recommended at all times to all passengers. Proof of Age cards should be encouraged (if time permits for applying) if they don’t possess a passport or drivers licence. Examples of government ID’s are:
    > Current Passport (or expired within 5 years*) – Can be issued by any country.
    > Current Licence (or expired within 5 years*) – We will accept any form of licence, such as Drivers (including older style QLD licence), heavy vehicle, or high risk work (forklift licence)
    > Proof of Age or Photo cards – The older QLD 18+ cards can be used as a form of photo ID to verify a person’s name, however it cannot be used to verify a person’s age. Passengers using an 18+ card should bring a copy of their birth certificate as proof of age. See below for information on cards from each State.
    > Government Identification cards – Such as Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or Australian Defence force Identification card. Also a Disability Parking Card (Government Issued) is acceptable as long as it has a photo.
    > Companion card – This is for people with a significant permanent disability, who always need a companion to provide attendant care type support in order to participate at most available community venues and activities
    > For passengers under 18 – Medicare cards or birth certificate will be accepted.
Please note: NZ passengers coming to Australia for a Coastal cruise will use their current valid Passport as ID, there are no other requirements. For minors, an original or certified copy of the child’s birth certificate or a school pass with photo will be accepted.

    * If an expired government ID is presented for a coastal cruise it should be backed up with a current other document with the same particulars; for example credit card, bank card or Medicare card. This should only be done as a last resort/ emergency and is not generally acceptable.

Passengers who do not posses a Passport or Government Issued Photo ID for an Australian Domestic cruise will need to show two (2) forms of ID (document or card showing their full name). One of these MUST be government issued.
Examples of government issued ID (non-photo):
    > Medicare card
    > Pension / Concession card
    > Seniors card
    Other forms of accepted ID:
    > Credit card or bank card
    > Bank statement
    > Utilities bill (water, electricity, rates etc.)
    > RSL club card
    > Student card
    > Electoral enrolment card
Passengers who present to check-in with insufficient ID or no ID will be denied boarding, with no refund offered.

anaechdotely people are telling me should be no problem

last bit is interesting ..you can board with a medicare card
and a credit card as ID

still waiting on official replies..will let you know as i get any replies

    WE WILL BE GOING ….HOWEVER

    Regards

“as Emma correctly observed, that was a bygone age. Seahorse and other organisations (jncluding TgR) have to ask not how they were relevant in the past, but how (and if) they can be relevant in the future.”

Exactly Emma.. i feel a good social media prescence is a must

As we are doing now communication is paramount … and SO easy to connect with others
Regardless of where you are on the transgender spectrum

Agree with people here totally BUT..
Organisations like Seahorse are still relevant and necessary.Although some of us are out and about..some people are still in the closet and cant dress anywhere other than Seahorse. It provides a great starting point for many who want to just dress and then maybe more when they build confidence .Im sure we all know this…but we should not let Seahorse wither and die ..if not for ourselves then for others beginning their journeys..Seahorse also needs have a more social media focus to attract more people..maybe not transgender but transvestite if that tag is still ok to use

    Rosemary
    No problem for double room
Will advise costs etc next few day
Will be limited to 7 bedrooms maybe one more
Will take total cost and divide by bedrooms
    Based on 15 people
Thinking costs will be about $200 per room/day/room
$55 For all day wine tasting tour..3 vineyards
Plus food costs barbecue fri night and eggs bacon bread for breakfasts
Pretty reasonable as we have upmarket property completely to ourselves
