Michelle,
In general, plucking your beard is not advisable.
One reason is from the chance that it will damage your skin. When you pluck,
a certain percentage of hair will not get pulled out because it might snap
off below the surface of the skin. This leaves a jagged edge at the end of
the hair which may cause an ingrown hair. Considering how many hairs you
would have to pull on your face, you should expect lots of ingrowns. If you do decide to pluck, it may take about a week or two before you see
the hair again. How long varies from person-to-person, but most people grow
about 0.3 – 0.4 mm of facial hair a day. You can guess how long it would
take for regrowth by plucking a few hairs to see how long they are under the
surface of the skin and then comparing the length to how much your beard
grows in a given day or two.As far as how long it would take, that also varies between people. Some
people have a dense beard while others having thinner beards that do not
cover as much of the face. The average person has about 600 follicles per
square centimeter. Even if you are able to pull one hair per second, it
would take you 10 minutes per square centimeter. Considering how many square
centimeters of hair the average male has on thier neck and face, it would
take you many hours. Once you did, your face would be hamburger. You’d be
better off going to a salon and having your face waxed…The best way to get rid of hair is electrolysis – but that is expensive,
time consuming, and permanent. You could go the laser route. Laser is not
“officially” permanent- but rather “hair reduction” – and unless you get
repeated treatments, the hair grows back after several weeks. One laser
treatment for your face and neck could cost you a few hundred dollars.Hugs,
Jamie

Girls don’t worry about not having arm hair. I shave mine off, and no one seems
to care or even take notice. I have to admit that I have blonde hair so that
might make it a little bit easier.
If you worry it doesn’t look manly in “guy” mode, just take a look at a
body-building magazine sometime. usually not much hair on those guys. It just
makes for a cleaner look, and really looks good when you are en femme. But
please, don’t forget to shave (or what other methods you use) your knuckles and
the back of your hands. Hairy knucles, hands, wrists and arms look bad if you
are trying to pass.
I hope my comments are helpful.Joan M.

I tried waxing myself a few years ago. I found it to be the most
painful, awkward and time-consuming of all the methods I’ve tried.
It makes me shudder just to think of it.I tried epilating. I love the results. But after a while I got fed
up because a lot of hairs seem to break instead of coming out all
the way. And it takes quite a long time. Perhaps I should get the
book “The Lazy Crossdresser”.I’ve thought about bleaching. I have dark hair and I don’t think it
would look right to have blonde arm hair. The sun doesn’t affect my
hair that way. I’m also afraid I’ll goof up in applying it and end
up with something really freakish.Source: yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Passing

Have you tried bleaching. I trim it first so it is not too long and
then bleach. This looks OK in boy mode too (like I have been out in
the sun). In the winter I wax and really just love the smooth waxed
look. I think it is wonderful but can only do it when long sleeves
are used in boy mode.Dayna

Hey girls…
I will often use bleach cream to lighten the hair and then use a
beard trimmer to trim the hair down. This works well for me in
both “boy mode” and “girl mode.” With the hair being shortened and
blond hair, it much less noticable in girl mode. But by leaving some
hair, is less noticable in boy mode.Bleach creams are simply chlorine-like powder and a cream that is
similar to cold cream. You mix the two together, spread the mixture
over your skin, wait about 10-20 minutes and then shower. The longer
that you leave the cream on the lighter the hair becomes and
eventually it goes light blonde. One simple trick that I learned was to skip using the little
cardboard “pallet” provided for mixing the cream and the powdered
bleach. Instead, I just dump the powder and the cream into a cup and
mix the two with a spoon.Since bleach cream is marketed to GGs who typically have thinner
hair, you probably need to leave the cream on longer than the
instructions suggest. Like Nair, you should be careful about leaving
the bleach on too long since it can cause redness but unlike Nair, I
don’t think that it does any real harm to your skin – or at least I
have never had it harm my skin. Still, the redness can last for
several hours so don’t go overboard until you see how it reacts with
your skin type.I’ll bleach my chest hair blonde before shaving it. This way, any
missed razor stuble is less noticable. I’ve also used it to slightly
lighten my eye brows. You can pick up bleach cream at any pharmacy.
Hugs,
-Jamie

Shaving works for me.
Or you could try Nair. But if left on your skin too long, it burns your skin

I used to shave my arm hair but I didn’t think that looked good. I’m
trimming the hair now but I still don’t think it looks right. I’m
referring to how it looks en femme. Any suggestions?Source: yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Passing

My objection to the so-called “realistic” vaginas are that they are not
realistic. Like Deanna said, they do not feel realistic and you have to tie
them on.If someone is going to make a vagina, they should be made out of material that
looks and feels realistic and the vagina should not be tied on. They make
breasts that glue on — why not a vagina that glues on with hair positioned in a
manner that it would be difficult to determine at a glance that it is not real
— one that a ‘girl’ could take a shower and, if seen, people would see a
female. Of course, the area would have to be shaved or hair removed, but that
is not too much to ask. Also, such a product would look good under pants,
swimsuit, panties, or see-through gowns. The area could be padded slightly around the sides with a compartment in the
center to place the unsightly male organs. That way, there would not be a small
hump showing, but a wider, more efficient ‘mound’.I am surprised that someone with the knowlege and ability (and probably a TS
woman) has not already produced one like that. It is way behind time.Love,

Do they look like one real one? Well yes you could say that they do
from the front. They did a good job at designing the vagina because
it functions correctly when tinkering but instead of being made out
of latex, they should of been made out of silicone so they would feel
like the real thing. The bad part of their design is that you have to
tie then on.Do they feel like a real one? Only when getting screwed if you cut
the shaft shorter. You see the shaft for the vagina is designed to
fit up your butt. Now anyone knows that real women don’t take it up
the rear as much as they like it up front. And because of the way its
designed, if anyone ever saw dump coming out of your vagina also,
they would know its not real. Are they worth its price? Considering their price, I should of said
no when I bought mine but being a designer by trade I knew I could
figure out how to solve its short comings (I did too). If they were
made out of silicone I might buy another one but at least I can work
with the silicone one. So it’s up to you if you think that they are
worth the price just for the appearence of having a vigina. When wearing sheer or crotchless panties under a short dress, you
sometimes catch a man glancing under your table more then a gentleman
should. The look on his face is priceless when you catch them at it
and will get the two of you taking to each other. Having someone
waiting on you and you walk out of the bath room in something sheer
or crotchless and cupless that allows them to see your vagina and
breasts will bring a smile to their face and that will bring a smile
to yours.Source: yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Passing

I bought a V String a realistic vagina a few years ago..It is well made and
feels great when I wear it..I bought it for one reason and that is when I wear
jeans or a nice pair of slacks it does a great job in hiding
everything..Everything sits out front..Not tucked under…It gives that nice
rounded look…If I wear it with tight jeans I have to watch what kind of under
wear I use because you can see Camel toes…I can’t tuck good enough to wear
with pants it is to painful…If your going to wear it for any length of time I
suggest putting plenty of baby power on it or it will pinch around the top
inside of your leg…Lets face it how real does it have to look..I think it does
look real I took some pictures and if you get the angle just right you would
have to look twice…It was not cheap I spent $165 so if you have the extra
money to throw around then I say go for it but I could think of many other
things to spend my money on…I hope this has helped out..

I used the scissors and cut mine up trying to make something I could use.
Finally, it all went into the trash.Love,

The ones I ordered were not realistic. I think the name was used just to get
people to purchase them. Were they worth the price? No!Love,

Hi,
I think the best method for voice modification is to listen to, really
listen to the point of studying, other women.
After reading that Tara sight someone mentioned I decided to try the breathiness
style for my answering machine message. It sounded quite nice, very fem, BUT
also quite little girlish. I imagine people who heard it would not expect to
see the middle aged woman that I am. I think its all inside the head. As one’s
self-identity becomes more and more that of “woman” all the external things like
voice, mannerisms, speech, etc fall into place. We tend to subconsciously hang
on to bits of that extensive conditioning we underwent as young males, and we
need to do some self-searching to locate those areas and rid ourselves of them.
And maybe realise we will never be women in the truest sense, and accept
ourselves for what we are.reynah

The voice is a hard thing to pass with. I have seen several sites
(annelawrence.com is one) and I have a book and tapes but try as I might, I
could not understand either what was meant, how to do some step or other part of
the exercise. the results were crummy. I lived with it. I did soften my voice
somewhat which helped but I also noted that if you watch and listen to other
women closely, you will note that some are high and tiny voices while others are
somewhat deep and husky. I simply got so I didn;t care. if it became a point to
be noted on the phone, I corrected the caller and went from there. if the
challenge came in person, I would ignore the jab and continue on taking care of
business. The pronouns were wrong for long months after surgery. I developed a very thick
skin. My srs surgery was years ago. during the years since, my voice has changed
on its own to be female.I have heard of some that go thru voice surgery. To date I have heard and seen
no method that works most of the time. I do know one person who went that route-
cost a bunch, her voice went back to what it was a few weeks after the surgery-
a waste. I only knew it because she mentioned it during a therapy session. to me
she sounded just like she had before.diane

It isn’t a dramatic effect but I get some enhancement from Neutrogena
Lip Boost. It isn’t extremely expensive. I also have heard that
Sesame oil helps.Source: yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Passing
