Hi girls,
Luci, I surely will share anything I can and don’t hesitate to ask me about it here or private. So far as I can say:
Surgery
I’m sure as Catherine said, you will do your researches and will go for professional help if you have any doubt. When we decide to do it, for the surgery itself, there are two options we can consider:
[ul]
[li]Mini-SRS (also known as Shallow Depth Vaginoplasty or … )[/li]
[li]Full-SRS[/li]
[/ul]Mini-SRS in fact means going for everything but the Vaginoplasty which is easier to recover, less risky, doesn’t need hair removal and of course no dilation afterward but as a trade off, no experience of penetrative vaginal sex afterward either
.
These two links are pretty good about it:

Currently Gender Centre in Sydey only suggest these three doctors which Dr. Ives is the only choice in Australia:Dr Suporn
http://www.supornclinic.com/Andrew Ives
Contact 03 9533 2019

Tel: (668) 3133-5836If you decide to go with Dr Ives, From your first call and surgery appointment, it will take a year.
It needs a private health insurance with extra cover to support the surgery, you can ask his office to send the list of items to check with your insurance.Out of pocket cost of mini srs is about 16k then medicare returns about 2k. and for full srs it’s 18k. We should also consider the cost of the trip and being there for 2 weeks.
In case we don’t have enough savings for the surgery and the trip, including having no investment property to sell …, we can take the money out of our superannuation for it.and for the surgery to be done, 2 support letters from 2 independent psychologist are needed, one dated less than a year before it and the other 3 month.
Catherine,
Thanks a lot for your kind and thoughtful advises. I really appropriate it and will consider itCheers girls

I was literally a [strike]guerrilla[/strike] gorilla 😆 and I mean it, I even had lots of hairs on my back. When I started to realise what’s going on with me, my partner encouraged me to go for laser hair removal.
My case, I had 10+ time on my face and at least 6 times on arms, back, chest and stomach. and I also after a while started taking Spiractin hormone-blockers.
I can say combination of laser and blockers works pretty good for me and I look more like a young boy now than a [strike]guerrilla[/strike] gorilla
cheers girls

Hi Maddie,
Let me share my experience too. It might become helpful.
I’m a38 years old,] and I tried to start HRT less than a year ago. I started with estrogen pills, but in 5 days a superficial vein in my left foot pumped up, which was because of blood clot. So I had to stop it immediately.
Then I found one of my options is to take non harmonic androgen blockers, and if I wish to go further, I can go with cosmetic surgeries. The pill is called “Spironolactone”.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SpironolactoneI started taking it and after a while the skin is obviously smoother, less hair growth, and just a bit man boob, which I like it. And also about changes in my personal feelings, I feel like a teenager
.
Cheers

Hey Sabrina,
Certified doctors can also prescribe HRT medicines. You can go to “Taylor Square Private Clinic”
http://www.tspc.com.au/As I know HRT doesn’t need referral, but doctors usually tries to get sure you know what you are doing to start it, which you do 😆
All the best

The pain is real. What do I mean?
I was watching YouTube clips that people walking bare foot on fire, so when our feet are in good condition we can even stand on fire, but when our feet are badly injured, even a gentle touch from our doctor can make us scream and it’s not a fake screaming, it’s real, the pain is real.
Honey, you feel bad by these things, because you are injured, otherwise it doesn’t matter what others call us. In worse case, it shows the person in front of us has some personality issues to work on
.
All the best,

Hey hey Fiona
Good good to see you post back again here. We all are worried about you, so keep posting honey.
You made me write the story of Corina. You know why? Because she is a brave, kind and fighter girl, just like you.
Corina had a very confusing situation, so she decided to go to Africa for a while to have time to think. One day she bought a lot of sausages and burgers to make a party for others. In her way back home, she parked her car somewhere to walk in wild nature. She was walking alone and suddenly she found a hungry big lion in front of her. It was shocking. Time stopped for her and she thought she had to do something. She immediately thought about these options:
Telling the lion it doesn’t need to eat her. She is a very kind girl and she loves to share sausages and burgers with it. But noop, they don’t talk the same language.
The other option was to fight with the lion but although she is powerful and strong, lion of course is much stronger.
Option 3, Run for now.Yep she only had the third option, so she took off her high heels, wore sport shoes and ran as fast as she could and when she found herself far from the lion, she hid in a safe place to make sure lion cannot find her. She rested well in her safe place and went back to town and had a lot of fun there.
After a while, she went back to the place she had seen the lion and put some warning sign there:”there are lions here, be ready to run fast”
She also made a special human size doll which smell like fresh meat and put it on lions area with an piece of meat 500 meters from it. When lions attack the doll they receive an electric shock so they run and they can find the eatable meat. In this way she teaches lions to not eat human to help people who cannot run fast enough.
… It’s the story of all of us, sometimes we should stop fighting and find a safe place to hide and rest. Then we should use our energy to have fun and also wisely fight.
Ok my beautiful flower. Go go, hide hide, rest rest and have fun and take a lot of care sweet heart.
Love,
