Good to hear you’re having good results from your implants.
Dr Powers does reference them in his discussion, only very briefly, as it appears to him they are not available in the States. Whereas in fact they are. There is a manufacturer in Colorado.

Hi Sana,
Just a quick update. I believe Dr Supporn has closed his business and is no longer available.

Hi Lucy
Good to start your research well in advance of such life changing procedure.
Research, research, research. Remember, it’s your body, your responsibility.
What conclusion can you come to with cost and location out of the equation?
Enjoy the journey, this is just the start to a spectacularly liberating life of endless opportunities you never thought possible. With Love and respect

Hi Sana,
It might be old but wisdom never changes.
Make sure you do your research ……throughly …… You’re the one who has to live with yourself longgafter the dust has settled. Revision surgery is expensive if there was something over looked in optimism
If you were to take the cost and location out of the equation, would Melbourne still be your answer.?
Another way to look at any health matter ; my body my responsibility. With Love and respect.

The health and well-being of many of the TG community would be so enhanced with some one of his ilk here in Australia.I sadly noticed the recent forced resignation of Australia’s’ one and only research Endocronoligist who worked extensively in the field of TG health, Dr Jon Hayes. He leaves a very large hole in the field of endocrinology which goes well beyond testosterone and estrogen.
There is a lesson to be learnt from this act by the Medical Council. If you think TG Heath is going to be available to you in the future, I’d think again. It’s going backwards at an alarming rate.
If anyone is interested in hearing/seeing Dr Power here in Australia, leave your comments below and I’ll see what can be done.

Where your thoughts go, energy flows.
In other words if your think about intolerance you give your limited energy away to intolerance.
Conversely if you think about tolerance/acceptance you give your energy away to it. Which one will your energy serve better?

RIP An Amazing person. So sadly missed.

Just following on from the interesting points Adrian raised in this topic, we must remember we are all unique to ourselves. In as much to some, an Aspro may relieve a headache, it may be Panadol to others while simply adjusting your hydration through drinking water may do the job for others. HRT has the same effect. The multiplicity of formats, compounds and dosages can produce a wide variety of results across the spectrum of uses. As we know from all forms of medication, any substances taken orally may be partially filtered out of the system by the liver. The half life of all medications has to be taken into consideration when prescribed as well, best results from anything are achieved through a consistent, sustainable supply.
It also goes without saying, any medication should always be under the appropriate medical supervision.Happy holiday season

Hi Lynnie,
When it comes to priorities, exatly where do YOU come in the list? First, last, or not accounted for?
If priorities aren’t working, perhaps choice will.

With such positive growth and acceptance, I can’t wait for the report card in the next 12 months. Who knows where this growth and acceptance can lead to !
As the famous mountaineer and Scottish author, W.H. Murray once said, ” Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way.”
…….. And it DOES work!!! How do I know? Because I live that truth each and every day.

The second was an extremely close relative of mine, in the streets of Sydney; none the less (*80km from home)
Irrespective of how well you “pass” there will always be some mannerism that people will identify as being you If you’re prepared to live within those means and always be prepared, then nothing should be a problem.

Good topic Caroline.
Just a reminder the associated link does reiterate US standards which are not necessarily adopted in Australia. Serum level conversion charts to Australian standards are available on Google.
A further reminder that as these chemicals do seriously change the body/brain chemistry they should be treated and monitored in a serious manner. Be totally comfortable with your Principal Consulting Practitioner (PCP); and at the “end of the day” it’s your body, your responsibility.
Enjoy

Would appear to be a somewhat flippant, guide to a complex and serious matter.
More specifically “Patients may NOT chose any” of the listed procedures, regardless of their gender. That waste of editorial space suggests that I may be entirely happy as a MtF individual to just under go a urethroplasty and nothing more. I would love to find a surgeon who would be happy to consent to such fantasy.
The price of the procedure stated for the USA is completely false and misleading. Dr. Bowers who is considered as one of the most expensive is only $28K USD, even less if you are an Australian. The other figures are as equally inaccurate.
Bree. I’m somewhat confused by your understanding of penile inversion. It is still a very much used procedure. To my understanding, the surgeons I know of create a new void for the neo-vagina which is in exactly the same position as that of a normal gendered female while the head of glan penis is recessed into the previous position once held by the penis to form the new clitoris. Perhaps you may wish to elaborate on the other forms of GCS.
Yours respectfully
