I’m so sorry mi dear, I don’t use wigs, I’m one of those fortunate buggers with my own full head of hair. HRT doesn’t seem to affect my locks. To be honest I’m saving up to have those locks dyed a luscious warm brown with blonde and honey highlights.

Hi Adrian,

I cannot for the life me understand any necessity for including titles, or they just nosey?

I’ve struggled for a long time on this issue, although not legal, I’m educating the uneducated to address me as Ms; it’s the nearest for which I’m comfortable with. Of course the issue is, why? Unlikely things will change, although you’ve made a wonderful start Adrian. Is this an issue the media will follow in their constant excrement thrown at the alphabet people. Elizabeth

Emma,

I would like, if possible to extend my two ticket to three day ( to include Sunday). Just tell me how much I would owe.

Oh my God, like Adrian I chose Elizabeth when I joined Seahorse on a whim 40 years ago and it stuck like araldite.

Others over the years have abbreviated it to Liz, ok but l like Elizabeth it has a nice ring to it, so Elizabeth it is.

I just had a distinct thought, after taking all those pills and potions, no more of a personal observation.

I’ve turned into the manifestation of the ultimate female, an absolute bitch.

Sounds to me a decision made in Victorian England.

The statistics seemingly bare out the increasing acceptance of us trans folk; whoopee.
I’m not too sure whether the increasing acceptance by the general populace flows down to me and other kindred spirits making us seemingly much happier, or is it me no longer giving a sh** what others think. I wish Olivia and her family all the very best.

• I haven’t written in either the forum or a blog for quite some time, however this stirred the loins a little.
I have a T shirt with the front wording SHE HER HERS. I could never understand either, they or ZE, I find it totally confusing to say the least, but then I’m jogging on well into my eighties so I’m ancient and probably out of touch. I’ve always said call me by whatever except ‘Hey You’
I’m not surprised how the cis gender public feels or reacts. And of course the media generally have no idea what they’re talking about.

I suppose congratulations are in order on being selected to abide in our glorious God’s country, Canberra, or should I say, the ACT. We are a sleepy lot especially the Trans community, but then the whole population is both sleepy, lackadaisical and probably, should I say inept. So, be aware. Oh, we’re here alright, first Saturday evening of the month, AGA House, Chinese nosh and scintillating conversations and debate. Oh, and occasionally dining at salubrious restaurants. AGA is about support, education (for the uninitiated) and advocacy, otherwise travel to Sydney, which you can’t. Canberra is a particularly safe location for us aging weirdos.
I’m looking forward to writers talk, please join ACT Writers, they’re quite lively.

Racing around the block on my wrinklies mobility scooter with my much superior partner (wife) trying to keep up and panting in the process, I had a rather profound thouight.
Corona Virus has for me and no doubt squillions like me a huge advantage. This social distancing, a bug bear for many is for my Myers Briggs type absolute bliss; introverts. No more being forced to interact with people who have no idea when to cease talking. Quiet, bliss, peace, a cup of coffee, a good book in a quiet corner in a comfy chair, that is heaven.
What do you reckon Caroline?

My God, I’m already looking forward to the event even if it’s a case of a social distancing picnic in some isolated and perhaps desolated location. I’ll bring the gin.

Caroline,
Transaction? aren’t we all, waiting with baited breath. I guess we’ll have to wait until 2021.
Hope all’s well.

A couple of days ago when I felt (like crap) totally out of sorts, I discovered the obvious reason for my malaise. The previous day I had a (normal) flu shot. Now whilst a flu shot will not give you influenza, one may experience the flu without actually having the flu, much akin to a Claytons flu.
