Ladies. To those wishing to attend the March cafe night, we will be changing the night to Thursday the 29th rather than Friday the 30th as it is Good Friday that day. Hope to see you there.

    K. xx

(I’ll post the usual meetup invite in this thread at the usual time – a week before the event with the usual instructions on how to book a place. This post is just an advance notice we will shift the event this month)………Adrian)

    Ladies.

There doesn’t appear to be much interest in the cafe night this month. Probably due to the Xmas/ NYE
period so I think we’ll postpone until January. Hope to get a big roll up then. Happy New Year. xx

I thoroughly recommend watching this if you can. He makes some quite succinct comments & observations that many of us can relate to. ;)

If you are a crossdresser then, in my opinion, it may be possible to never tell anybody and carry on as normal. However if you are transgender I think you should tell your partner after a reasonable period of time and not bottle it up until too much time has passed.

Tatiana, I for all intents & purposes am a ‘crossdresser’ but I still regard myself as transgender. To me the term ‘transgender covers a wide spectrum. :)

I have struggled with keeping secrets for a while now & only last night posted in another forum about this issue. It is a tricky situation about who to tell but nevertheless it still eats me up I can’t share this part of my life with the ones I love. Unfortunately IMO most people outside our community don’t remotely understand. :(

As I’ve got older I’ve tried to avoid being out in the sun too much & as a result I don’t have too many bad telltale tan lines. Nevertheless they do happen from time to time so I’ve taken to using a good quality spray-on tan, especially when I have a big night out coming up & I know I’ll be wearing something that will reveal upper arms, shoulders, neck & chest. I usually apply once a day for 4 or 5 days before the event & I think I get a reasonable result. I don’t try to achieve a perfect all over tan, I just try to blend the lighter skin areas with the darker. There are many different shades on offer so obviously try to get the one that suits your skin tone. 8)

Not a subject I would normally get involved in being just your average CD but IMO if you are now a B cup, that seems to me like quite a good result already. Without offending anyone, I’ve never really liked the look of implants mainly because as Catherine said, most girls tend to lean towards oversize rather than under. Many CDs tend to do the same thing with their falsies too! Why risk unnecessary surgery for no reason? Cheers. :)

No Andi, I bought mine here – http://www.americanshapewear.com/ You might find them cheaper somewhere else though. From memory, delivery was reasonably prompt. K :)

I have the same problem with corsets & cinchers. I have a couple of Rago bodysuits that flatten out the waist & stomach to a certain degree but would like to be able to pull in a little more without the bulk of a cincher etc. http://www.americanshapewear.com

I can’t add too much more to what others have said. Try to get professional help if you can, try for a similar colour to your own hair. I like synthetics as they don’t need as much care as real ones. It won’t matter how much you spend though if the wig you get is not right for you!

If price is an issue, & for most of us it is, you could go to a store, find a wig that suits then see if you can get it cheaper online. Be warned though, in my experience, even the same model of wig can be a little different to the one you first saw. Best if you find the wig that looks to be right for you & buy it then & there.

Those who were at TF & wanted to purchace the official photos, placed $10 in an addressed envelope at the Saturday night formal. Copies were then sent out to those addresses in the following weeks. I’m sure there is a way to still get a copy. Caroline is the person you need to get in touch with.

If any of you missed ( somehow !) the chance to put your name down for the Transformal Photo album let me know and will try to work out something to suit

PS Thanks Kristen for posting this

Thanks again Carro. The pics are fantastic & capture a great night. May I say to those who haven’t been to TF yet, try & get a look at these photos somehow & see what you’re missing. :D

I’d also like to give my thanks to Amanda, Caroline & all who contributed to this years TF. I had a wonderful time again. The Carrington is such a great venue & Katoomba is starting to feel like home. Well done to all who came along. Hopefully they all enjoyed the experience as much as I did.
