Hi Girls
The link still takes you to the Masquerade home page.
Then go to the Swerve article near the bottom of the index on the left.
It is a great read.Sheryl

Hi Girls
I do think about dressing often, even in male mode I’m wearing femme cut jeans. I don’t own any ‘male’ underwear so every time I’ve been to the loo, I pull my femme knickers up and I feel properly dressed underneith. I usually wear a nighty to bed so I’m dressed when I wake up and often dress femme when I get out of bed, even if it’s only for a short time.
Most woman I see, I wonder if I could look as good in what she is wearing.
So I suppose it’s actually very often. -
Hi Everyone.
I can certainly relate to some of the points you have raised Caty, but having a spouse who knows and is very understanding does make things so much less complicated.
Being a shiftworker means our drapes are heavy for sleeping during the day and mesh curtains too, means that we have privacy when the drapes are open.
That doesn’t mean I am totally careless tho, Sheryl is not out to all the neighbours yet and on warm summer days when the front door is open with only the security door to hide behind, I am cautious of being seen by those ‘not in the know’ especially the young children next door.
I do check the basin for splashes of make-up and powder and for hair on the floor before the SO is due to arrive home, not to hide the fact that Sheryl has been here (she may still, be here), but to avoid being labled a dirty girl who leaves a mess.
As for too much of being Sheryl, it has never happened, not in the last 50 years and I don’t expect it to happen any time soon. Life wasn’t meant to be easy, life as a non cis girl is definitely not easy but it feels so ‘right’ that I cannot imagine reverting to male mode for no other reason than “because it is easier”.
Happy Dressing (whenever you can)

While having a femme weekend in Melbourne, I went to the Savers store in Footscray a few weeks ago and was very impressed. The shop is enormous and the range of goods is fantastic with wide isles and well laid out. I have been told that some of the other stores are even better. I will definitely be shopping at Savers again.

Hi Andi
What a lovely outcome for you. Surely the next question has to be, How will his girlfriend feel about him living and going out with, another woman. I hope that goes as well for you too.

It’s all in the mind Caty. Definitely yours. Possibly his too, but you may never find out for sure. At least until you do get skype!

Hi Everyone
This has to be the best TgR forum topic I have had the pleasure to read and I think I have read them all.
Thanks to Liz for starting the thread and to Erika for steering it in the right direction and to all who provided such heartfelt replies.
I now have an answer to the question of why I dress and why it feels so ‘right’.
I think J.F.K. gave us this answer about 50 years ago but I missed the question on that occasion.Amanda-Adrian wrote:
So if others want to know Why… let them tell you first Why Not!
Absolutely brilliant!

I think the last pair of ‘jocks’ with perished elastic, was thrown out at least 10 years ago. Much prefer lace or satin and a pair of support panties to maintain the right profile. If i need to strip for an examination I just wear something in plain cotton and if they were ever to ask, I would tell them the truth and let them handle it as best they can. Why should I be the one with issues to deal with?

Dear Peta
Please don’t leave us because of one disgruntled member.
I am very new here and have spent many many hours reading through the forum and members profiles to try to get a feeling of how the site works, who is here and how I can fit in. After four months I still have much reading to do.
The one person who appears to have more posts than Amanda is you.
Be it in the forum or in numerous personal blogs, a sympathetic ear, a word of encouragement or just plain sensible advise, you seem able to find the time and the right words to fit the situation.
Even when facing a personal attack you seem to have the ability to reverse the situation and with compassion and kindness, face your adversary and offer assistance.
To me and I’m sure many other girls, TR would be a poorer place without your presence.
You Go Girl (but please not away from us).

Hi Girls
I think Dustin Hoffman used a similar method in the movie Tootsie but it may have been closer to Christine’s clothes peg idea (and didn’t Tootsie look good). Grab a copy of the movie and check it out.
