I’ve just been pointed to http://www.tranz4mations.net.au . Is this your site Nicola or is it different to tranz4mations.com.au ? If I’m about to blunder into WA gender politics I’d like to do it with my eyes open.

I must be a dreadful cynic. When this all started I ignored it as an expression of frustration by someone with a commercial strategy to pursue who was angry that potential customers failed to fall into line with the strategy. With that attitude no small business person can survive. None of us potential customers should give a hoot.

Years ago my wife threw all Carol’s stuff in the swimming pool. My favourite wig never really recovered so I would never take my new wig swimming unless I could guarantee to keep my head above water.

The Gender Centre has moved from Bent St Petersham to 41-43 Parramatta Rd Annandale. All other contact details remain the same and Stanmore is still the closest railway station. You just have to walk 180deg the opposite way.

I stayed quiet on this debate because my partner has made it clear she is not interested in participating.
From my experience on other sites it seems very difficult to keep an active group of partners involved but good luck.

Sorry I failed to find the original one. Then B1 said my computer was out of date and B2 said I couldn’t read its scribbly letters right. That must make me 100% female? I was a bit suspicious about the questions, one asked if I was male or female.

Thanks Martina. Two clicks down there was a 2 minute video interview with Stephanie which showed that she really has got it.

Caroline and Adrian, I couldn’t agree more. At my first lunch meeting with a TG person on the South Coast, my parting comment was that it had been so great to just spend time talking to someone who “got it”.

Yes, yes. I’ve just had lunch with a former member of this site. Someone who took a long time to decide to transition, then went gang busters, then woke up to the negative side of loss of family relationships late in life and has taken (in my view)the rational decision to put family before transition.

Cathy sounds like a great friend Martina. I think you are both right. Some of us started off convincing ourselves that we were “just” crossdressers but then admitted to ourselves that there was more than that. We voluntarily slid down the slope. Others of you have no inclination that way and will keep improving your appearance with no risk of approaching the edge of the slope.

31/10/2014 at 1:29 pm in reply to: Hips, Hip Pads made or bought

    Hi Katie,

I’m surprised Clarksons didn’t come to the party. Their Erina store, and others I’ve been to have copious quantities for a vast range of foam in a variety of sizes and thicknesses. They will cut to your desired size but will not mould for you. You can do that at home with a Stanley knife.

Lyncraft should have in the haberdashery section a variety of shoulder pads that can double as hip/bottom pads.

What type of foam are you asking for?

    Best wishes
    Catherine
