Well I went and bought the Male version for myself, agreed I am probably 20 yrs too late but it will be interesting to see what happens.
Well it certainly has a little kick and it can get hot but no real dramas or complaints.

Would appear to be a somewhat flippant, guide to a complex and serious matter.

More specifically “Patients may NOT chose any” of the listed procedures, regardless of their gender. That waste of editorial space suggests that I may be entirely happy as a MtF individual to just under go a urethroplasty and nothing more. I would love to find a surgeon who would be happy to consent to such fantasy.

The price of the procedure stated for the USA is completely false and misleading. Dr. Bowers who is considered as one of the most expensive is only $28K USD, even less if you are an Australian. The other figures are as equally inaccurate.

Bree. I’m somewhat confused by your understanding of penile inversion. It is still a very much used procedure. To my understanding, the surgeons I know of create a new void for the neo-vagina which is in exactly the same position as that of a normal gendered female while the head of glan penis is recessed into the previous position once held by the penis to form the new clitoris. Perhaps you may wish to elaborate on the other forms of GCS.

    Yours respectfully

I completely agree with Sara, any MtF students would prefer to be addressed as girls and why would any FtM want to be in a girl only school?

Just possibly an FtM would want to stick with their school friends? Forcing trans people to move as a consequence of their gender seems wrong in principle to me.

How about we go right back to tours and rename this thread, “How To Be ME!!!! and lets work out of there and see what happens. May sound funny and somewhat light hearted, however how many people do you know that don’t even know who they are; what they represent, what they stand for?

How many people are out there who are pretending to be someone they are not?

Lets strip everything back to the bare boards and start from there. No socialite expectations,no societal norms, no societal unrealistic expression of presentation. All pressure OFF!! Define who or what it is who “ME” is and go forward from there, minding each others business and simply moving forward, to where ever that is

    Merry Christmas

Is the very concept of passing problematic? Obviously not. If a 5 year old girl can get it, what’s stopping “us”?
Would “Holly” not be a girl if she had 7 eyes, or 1 ear, or 5 legs? Most probably not. Because according to the 5 year old, see communicated with Holly through her sense of intellect. Nothing more, nothing less. She obviously indentifued Holly as a girl long before she knew what genitalia Holly had.

So why do “we” want to make it so difficult? Just go with what your brain says you are. After all, it is THE most powerful organ in the body. Why put limits on yourselves? Whose life do you want to live? Yours; or someone else’s?

I’m an Australian living in America. Does that make me an American? No! It makes me an Australian living in America. I’m a woman living in a slightly different body. Does that make me slightly different? No! It makes me a woman living in a slightly different body.

    Christmas cheer

Don’t be too jealous Caty. I too am approaching 70 (just 18 months to go). I have an obvious helicopter landing area on top which my hairdresser is working to disguise behind the perimeter growth but I often resort to a wig or hat when that isn’t working.

👿 Can we stick to the topic please – Coming out in the city and regional areas – or the moderator’s axe will be unsheathed!! 👿 Adrian

It might seem contradictory but I totally agree with both Dianne and Caty. Let me explain. I too live in a small regional centre with a high proportion of retiree residents, in my case in NSW not far from Nowra. I regularly get out as Carol but never, so far, in my own area. I head off north to Sydney or Wollongong or further south to other small coastal centres. On these occasions I leave home and return as Carol and keep my fingers and toes crossed that nobody that knows me notices a strange woman driving my somewhat distinctive vehicle. I’ve had no hassles from anyone on these expeditions either in the big smoke or in other rural places. I should also say that I had a high profile in various organisations a couple of years back and can imagine the rumour mill going hyper if the word gets out.
Despite all this I am pretty sure that the local community will be very supportive when I come out. The perceived problems for my wife are a major reason I don’t. At times I just think I’m chicken and I’m using my wife as an excuse. I’ll have to come out soon though. My hair getting longer and my face getting smoother will see to that. Watch this space.

    Hi
Just looking at the units and now I need help.
the SC2008 model has a lower life cycle, But it has a larger head which we need for shearing lol
and it is cordless as well which is convenient.
Sadly I cant find power references or for Male use and I am hoping you can advise me as to what you think.

    Hi
A bit of catch 22 now I guess as shaving promotes hair growth, whereas waxing slows it down.
again maybe attack the hairs that regrow after waxing, especially as they would be weaker.
And I am off to the shaver shop now :)

Hi May I suggest instead of shaving you wax your face, especially as I feel the hairs left will come out easy now.
