Nylon or Satin nighties for me!-I have been collecting vintage nighties since the early nineties and have about twenty so far.The better ones I keep to admire or wear on special ocassions and the “more loved” ones I use for every night wear.Any I find that are too small for me are commandeered by my S/O.
Nighties are about the dressing I,ve been doing for sometime now.

    Hi Girls

I have had some sucess combating the dreaded “Frizz”by using two products suggested to me by a lady in a wholesale/cash and carry beauty products place here in Tassie-in Hobart.
She sold me a product called Agadir-Argan Oil Hair treatment which I gently apply to the ends by pouring a little in the palm of my hand and work through the hair. This seems to keep things under control!
For washing my wigs, she suggested a shampoo and conditioner for hair extensions and sold me a product called Balmain Shampo for hair extensions-with a matching condition-all not cheap!
I washed and conditioned one of my wigs yesterday and am very pleased with the result.
I guess the next time I wear my wig will tell me the true result of how good the products are.

I had both my ears pierced about five years ago and have never regretted a moment.Whenever I see my male self in the mirror my earrings-small sleeper type hoops-remind me of who I am
For those who are having doubts-just do it!!

I came up with my femme name fairly easily really-Lee is a shortened version of my male name and James is my middle name.Nothing beats simplicity sometimes!

Hi Girls-regarding the the T-Shirt slogans,I saw one or at least the mention of the following slogan on an American T/G forum. It went something like this.

“Just because I,m not wearing a dress doesn,t mean I,m not a crossdresser”

Dont know if I would be brave enough to wear that one!!
My favouite T-Shirt with a slogan is

“S.S.D.D.-Same S__t. Different Day.I wear this one to work frequently!!

    Hi Skye,

I too used to suffer from ingrown hairs rather badly in similar areas to you-but after some experimentation have almost solved my ingrown hair problems.
Firstly, when I shave I use hair conditioner as a shaving medium instead of normal creams/soap.I found the Pantene product to be the best for me.
Secondly, I use a body brush every morning in the shower which mildy exfoliates my torso and legs-I use a Ti Tree oil based face and body wash on the brush.
Thirdly, for my face, before I shave I use an Apricot scrub type of exfoliant-you may find something else which works for you.
    Fourthly,moisturise a couple of times a day.
This regime isnt the be all and end all for me though as I still have some trouble with ingrown hairs, mainly around the bikini line and backs of the legs,BUT,only about five percent as bad as when I first started hair removal.
Havent tried the Nads product yet-I found a product in Priceline yesterday called Legole which I plan to try-not cheap at $27.00,but what part of our lifestyle is?

    Good Luck

I have found that Revlon ColorStay works for me for a short period but a fter a few hours I find that some beard shadow occurs-but quite ok and quick to apply for around home use.
If I go out for an event-which isnt often enough-I use Kryolan TV Paint stick foundation which lasts really well with no beard shadow “showthrough”‘.
I have found that using moisturiser underneath does make it shiny fairly quickly though so carrying some powder in my handbag is a must-I use the matching Kryolan powder.
I havent been able to source Kryolan products in Tasmania yet but have found it at The Stage Shop in Adelaide-3 Leigh St-just a block or two south of North Terrace
    Hope this info helps…………..

    Hi Aleisha

I.ve had my Goldseal breastforms for a couple of years now and found them to be very user friendly and relativley easy to fit, although I have found that if they arent fitted correctly the adhesive tapes will pull on the loose skin in the underarm area when the wearer lifts their arm above “boob height”which can be quite uncomfortable after a while. When I mentioned this to the suppliers, they told me the correct way to fit them and I have had no problems since.
After two or so years they are in as good condition as when I bought them!
A tip though-keep them clean and ALWAYS keep them in the box they came in when you store them.

The best investment I have in my C/Ding wardrobe

    Hi Felicity
I tried double piercings in both ears-I kinda hoped that might have at least provoked a conversation or two which may have lead to THE question-but alas nothing so far-perhaps us girls in Tassie are a little shy in that regard,i.e most of us are in the closet, and afraid of being outed by asking the wrong questions at the wrong time!
I like your idea of the seahorse keyring but I think the specific jewellry design is a great idea-so who knows a jewellry designer who can help us out?

    Ditto to what Wendy said!!!!
The Tasmanian girls enjoyed it too!
What better way for us to come out of the closet than at an event like Steppin Out- we are still talking about our night out a week later.
Congrats to Emma,Jaclyn,Naomi ,Raelene and all the supporters and sponsors of the event.
My Wife and I got to meet some great new friends-some of whose names have now escaped us!!-so we,ll have to do this event again to renew those aquaintences.Special thanks to Emma & Naomi who helped make our attendance possible.

    Cheers

    Lee and wife.

Gavin,as mentioned in the last post is also known as the Lovely Miss Leah True-as featured frequently in the Roses “Repartee” magazine published in the U.K.Leahs partner Sue-also featured in the doco-writes quite a well written column in the mag for partners and S/O,s as well.
I have been quite looking forward to SBS picking this doco and you guessed it-I wont be able to see it or record it to watch later-typical of my luck lately. Will any body-perhaps a Tassie girl-be likely to be recording it-and maybe having a copy made for little me????
All costs etc would be quite happily covered!!!.
