I bought one of these from Myers a couple of years ago, replaced 6 hot blades, no visible effect after many months , Myers not interested in refund as not designed for coarse male hair, despite their adds to the contrary, too many difficulties to pursue it further, I recall posting on the subject at the time, any one want a freebie, needs new blades, let me know
    cheers

ps was actually 3 years ago, I’m sure it was never painful, just a bit smelly from the burnt hair

works a treat, would never have thought of that, just goes to show we’re never too old to learn

As my West Aus namesake says, just changing the last letter works well,
& I do know a GG who uses Terry, very good at parties where you don’t have to think about what people call you, I doubt that it was deliberate, dad wanted to call me Mick, so I guess Michelle would have been close

    Thanks Virginia
I recently won a Nutrimetics fragrance collection at, of all places, a classic motercycle rally, had a bit of trouble disguising my delight, but wasn’t sure how to apply them, 3 very different scents, all really nice
Your post gives all the answers
    cheers

Yvonne, you looked great, so yes, it’s not what you wear but how you wear it, be it wigs, clothes, shoes or whatever, wish I’d known though, would have had fun stirring on sunday

Hi Maddy & Loretta, cant agree more, much more fun riding than driving, question I havent been able to resolve is how to take the helmet off with out the wig coming with it, unless your those lucky girls with their own hair, sigh, way too late for me, keep the rubber side down & the pretty clothes up
    cheers

Hi gwendolyne, Virginia has got it right, however a very basic guide is Aus women go up 2 sizes from Aus mens, add another 2 sizes for US women, ie. size 12 Aus men = size 14 Aus women = size 16 US women = 47 european, which are usually a narrow fit
a good piece of advice from one of the online shops is to measure a good fitting pair of shoes, doesn’t matter if the’re boy or girl , get the inside length & the outside width at the widest part, most sites, including ebay give these sizes, usually in centimeters
    happy shopping

Hello Amanda, sorry about taking so long to make up my mind, had to discuss it with Enya to decide if we could afford it, for someone who whinges about paying $10 for a hamburger, $90 for a buffet takes a bit of getting used to, however we’re both keen to come down from Grafton for what sounds like a great weekend, really look forward to being one of the 43 or so sisters, is the room tariff per person or per room?
    hugs

I bought one last xmas, initially thought it was working, but after 10 months have found no real result, possibly a little less hair on legs, nothing anywhere else, last lot of blades died a couple of weels ago & I’ve decided to not bother replacing them
back to epilating & shaving, sigh

6 months on & I might have been a wee bit optimistic
still get that burnt hair smell, but it doesn’t appear to remove much
I’ve been using NO!NO! most days while still depilliating regularly, appears to be significantly less hair regrowth on legs (may also be due to regular wearing of tights during cooler months), less so on arms & no apparent effect on body & face
A bit disheartening, but I will persevere for at least another 6 months
So far have gone through 5 hot blades, about $12 each

Thanks for all that info Virginia
I’m trying NoNo after some years of epillating & shaving (good effect but lots of time to keep it all nice)
Instructions are to use at least twice a week & expect results to take 6 to 8 weeks, do not use on sensitive areas, face , breasts or genitals
I’ve been using it dailly for 10 days, including face & breasts, before morning shower to rinse away burnt hair smell & can see positive results alreeady, down from shaving arms & legs daily to every 3 days & I think my beard is getting lighter( hope) takes about 10 mins to do full body, apart from back (need some help there)
    wiil keep you posted

my program shows fri 7th, I’ll be away but I’ve already set the recorder, stange but I’m also interested in model trains
maybe the generally colder weather in Britain allows one to wear girly gear more discreetly than here? a bit hard to wear a bra & tights when your’e wearing a light shirt & shorts without them being a bit obvious

This was my fourth event & I’m already saving for next year
