Try some of the hair remover cream. At first, don’t leave it on too long – otherwise it may remove all the hair. I’ve tried this and it does a pretty good job of thinning the hair. You could also try bleaching the hair so it doesn’t show too much. One other thin I’ve done is run an electric razon about 1/2 above the skin

I use a Braun Silk-epil, a mechanical epilator. It removes the hairs successively and you can stop when you have the desired result. My experience is that by time I stop later and later. My arms are nowdays almost hairless (as are legs).

It’s simple. I shave my hands and the insides of my arms and use a hair trimmer set on the shortest setting on the backs. The hair is so short it is basically unnoticeable yet I avoid all the itching and ingrown hairs from shaving. I do have light colored hair on my arms so if you have dark black hair this wouldn’t work. I know some people bleach their arm hair and with a trim that would solve your problem. Hairy arms and a dress really do look bad -)

For someone who claims to be an author I was surprised that Ellen
(the owner of http://www.barkingduck.net/ehayes/ ) had copied the article “Women Who Once Were Boys” onto her web site without any attribution as to where she copied it from.
I don’t approve of this sort of disrespect of copyright.

It isn’t too hard to track down the real author Joseph Henry Press and the posting of the article on the web at http://www.nap.edu/books/0309084180/html/139.html
It is part of a book called The Man Who Would Be Queen: The Science of Gender-Bending and Transsexualism

I would encourage people to read the article here and not to go to Ellen’s presumably illegal copy.

Alice I’ve put a copy of your post here under serious stuff – because I’ve looked at the article and I think that is just what it is.
Firstly thank you for posting the link – and
secondly can I recommend others to read it.

As Alice says, the article is long,
and it does fall into the simplification trap of cleanly categorising people into exclusive silos. Psychologists just love that!!
But it does address in a sometimes confronting way many of the issues that are obviously surpressed in our community.
From my years of experience talking to members of Seahorse (and my own personal journey) I found much of what the author wrote rings true.
I know others will find this article challenging – but try to ask if what is beind said is true – rather than is it what we would like to hear.

I look forward to hearing what others think.

If you don’t like your new name in the chat like Mary_4 then log into the TgR web site and edit your profile.
As part of the profile you can “change your name” .
Where the current name is shown (like Mary_4) type a new name like Mary P
As long as your new name is unique in TgR you will say goodbye to having a number!

Any problems just email me as usual….

It turns out that the chat room does not expect two users to have the same name….it gets somewhat confused.
To avoid unintentional identity theft I have changed the underlying membership database so that duplicate member names have a _1, _2 etc suffix.
I will work on making these nasy suffixes hidden in the main TgR web pages – but to avoid confusing who posted what they will be visible in the
    forums and in chat.

I buy the nail kits from the local chemist I dont usually have a problem with the glue although you do have to press firmly on the nails for about 20 secs to get them to stay in place, also they come with glue remover which works really well too.

I find the self stick pads no good, and apply liberal quantities of the Super glue they supply. I make sure I have some super glue remover, which you can get from the local hardware stores.

Hi Janique, re bushy brows, if you do not wish to have the pleasure of plucking, I suggest using a comb and a pair of nail scissors, comb the brow upward and trim along the comb, I also pluck as well but this may not be suitable for you.
