I came out to my wife twice with a 30 yr gap when I pretended to give up crossdressing but carried on while she was away or I was on a business trip. Long term stealth mode can work if you are really careful.
The two coming outs were radically different based on our circumstances at the time. The first time we were a young married couple and she took my hobby as a bit of a joke and cooperated as long as no-one else was likely to find out and as long as I didn’t bring Carol to bed. But as she slowly realised this was serious stuff for me she became more negative and I went back into the closet.
Second time we are both retired, the children are grown up and married and I am obviously not going to change. The children know. I’m spending much more time as Carol, doctors etc know about me and I am getting support from my wife as long as friends and neighbours don’t find out. I’m slowly dropping hints about transition and I’m hopeful my wife will stick with me. -
I’ve read many times that whatever herbs or hrt you are on your ultimate growth will depend on heredity ie the size of your mother’s is a good indicator. This is so disappointing as both my mother and my eldest daughter who is mother’s spitting image have small ones. I’m out to prove environment is more important! wish me luck.

Hi Scylia,
Yes. I have had a good result in the use of PM. I did use it in conjunction with another herbal I cannot comment on here, in order to comply with the TOS for this thread.
Some 3 or 4 years ago I used PM for approx 6 months and achieved a large ‘A’ cup. I am now a ‘C’ cup due to other medication, the rest is history, both of which cannot be discussed in this thread to comply with the TOS.
If you’d like to hear the rest of my story, I’ll find the necessary threads that comply with the subject material and link between them.
But, yes; in my case, PM DID work.

It could be the other herb had the effect – and not PM… if you don’t say then aren’t you potentially misleading us?
Or is the opportunity to have a dig at moderation too strong to resist?I find the petty side-sniping at keeping topics on-topic quite pathetic to read. These forums were set up with the intent of collecting useful information, and unless we pay an army of sub-editors to clean everything up that means the posters (yes you) have some responsibility to the site.
We are all adults, we all can understand what the original poster wanted to know (the on-topic-stuff). And for those who find the idea of creating a structured resource for the benefit of those who follow us too restrictive on their creative outpouring there is all of the unmoderated forums to play in, not to mention plenty of other on-line forums.
I rarely provide poor evaluation of posts – but the tone of this post makes me feel it is a thinly veiled attack on moderation (and so me) and so I should vote.

Hi I have been seeing him for about 2 years, every easy going. Can be a bit too easy going at times. Have no problems with him. He took over from Dr Steinbeck Any questions just ask.

Hi Chloe,
In answer to your question. Absolutely gorgeous man. Knows his stuff backwards. I’d place my life in his hands. In fact I have, and haven’t looked back since.
A somewhat biased response? Probably. But I’ve licked the ice cream and I want a double scoop.
You’ll be fine with him.

Thank you Pamela for pointing out the specific law that causes the concern. I was unaware of its existance.
It’s quite an interesting and valid point you raise, and by which certainly needs to be addressed.
From my own personal standpoint it bears little consequence. I have always viewed my GID to be temporary and correctable. Hence I’ve put into action, all the requirements of law to be legally defined as a female. By the end of 2013, I will have satisfied all prerequisites and be eternally happy to live the rest of my life as a woman. Female by gender and law, but not genetics. A minor imposition.
But that is my own personal opinion and plan.

Congratulations Pamela on a good effort in creating discussion at a Federal level.
In order for this reply to hopefully remain here, I will address two points within this thread.
My first point is in regard to the nominal 2% of membership that appear to have an interest in this topic. This 2%, represents quite a normal figure of interest from such a niche portion of society with very diverse interests. So in a way, you would have to be pleased with such a good response.
My second point regards the actual content of your correspondance to your local Federal member.
Your last paragraph concerns me greatly.
a) If I’m to be drawn into the “royal ‘We,'” I wish to have no association with the Transgender/Transexual community in any way, shape or form
b) The comment with respects to, no known cure, stands in contradiction to a topic started here some time ago, requesting Medicare recognition of GID in its many forms. Again at a Federal level. (Somewhat counter productive to presenting a “United Front” on the issue)
c) and further to point (b), you are in grave danger of alienating a respectable portion of the community, that are spending an inordinate amount of time, money, resources and effort in seeking well proven forms of remediation for GID. Some of which place the individual well within the spectrum of the law with respects to marriage.
d) To suggest “we are happy living between two worlds” further compromises and undermines the respectable effort referred to in point (b) and I would strongly disagree that the state of supposed ‘happiness,’ could exist, in an environment of personal, and sometimes profound compromise.
With all due respect, it was a nice effort. However my own personal opinion I feel it weakened the case for law reform.
Respectfully

Big huggs to you Erika. Congratulations on such a courageous effort. Self fulfillment must be a pretty much indescribable feeling, not to mention that moment of silent ecstasy when you realize congruency has been achieved.
You are absolutely right about having support people with you. It’s almost mandatory, for your own self preservation.
I, personally am heading to the States later this year for excactly the same reason. I’m soooooooo lucky to have my adoreable sister-in-law accompanying me.
Welcome home, speedie recovery and big huggs. Oh! and remember to keep up that totally awesome ‘maintenance ‘ schedule up

I have often wondered how long before these Bra burners woke up and realised they and their ways have ruined it for themselves as well as for us males.
Sorry but I dont think of this as drivel but a declaration of someone’s past stupidity.
I would go as far as to say that those who pushed Women’s Lib have blood on their hands for making the Males world and his life unbearable.
Like we as a supposedly civilised society have a Male suicide rate of 6 Men to 1 female.
And nobody seems to care.
Now that is something I do feel feel is Sexist. And sad.Us Baby Boomer men can have a life now and be accepted, especially as a lot of Women are lonely and cant find a relationship as there is not enough men around, nor are many all that interested in putting up with their crap carry ons.
But WE as an area of Society have to know how to explain that we too can also enjoy feeling good when all dressed up and that such feelings and dressing up are all part of being human and feeling good.Who actually wrote the above opinion please, anyone know?

Administrator11/01/2013 at 2:12 pm in reply to: What is the message you want to tell society? To begin with I only get to be who I want to be on a part time basis some weekends some social events and shopping outings… therefore I am… my ‘male’ self 90% of the time.
I think no less transgender than someone who lives it most or full time. What I would like to pervey to the general public, friends, relatives and work colleagues is
‘Sinndy’ is that same person that you enjoy having a drink and chat with at the coffee shop, hotel or restaurant
‘She’ is the same person that has a good laugh and plays golf with you in the Saturday competition
The same respected team leader who chairs the weekly engineering meeting and teaches the young
The same loving relative who is so welcomed after travelling and visiting far away family on the holidays
‘She’ should also be, the admired and often praised person for raising her children alone after a family lossSociety should never have an issue with…. what ‘she’ may wear on the outside, how ‘she’ does her hair or how ‘she’ applies that make-up
They should understand and accept though who ‘she’ is…. what ‘she’ stands for and how ‘she’ is already a solid part of the community for there is no difference between her and that person ‘she’ has to be 90% of the time…. or anyone else for that matterMy thoughts…….

Sinndy !!!!!! This is going to sound really crass but, I like many others were put on the spot when asked to provide a name for a website. Mine wasn’t for a Transgender site as other girls have mentioned here but for a dating site.
I thought maybe this was the only place to find people like me.
I have cross dressed all my life but really never had a persona as such until 2 years ago ‘ I just dressed in secret’ So yes I was stumped with this question and went away despondent. Not really having been involved or associated before in our really wonderful community which I have now since found, I was guided by the weird names found on those dating sites, which all seemed to be based around drag queen type names “oh woe is me’
I wanted something catchy and yet feminine….. boy you should have heard some of the names I made up YUK. 😳
I gave up for awhile (which meant I still hadn’t joined that site) when one day I was watching the news on TV and the woman stated…… there will be fine weather for Sydney City I thought that’s got a nice ring to it and joked to myself ‘Sydney’ ……City of Sin or Sin City 💡I toyed with that ‘still thinking those horrible names on the website BUT that was my mind set at that time and felt Cindy or Sindy was a nice feminine name and City was very fluent with it.
So Miss Sinndy City was born. I added the extra ‘n’ so it was a bit different….. people have since commented that it is quite unique which I think is cool. Also not realizing it at the time but there were 4 letters in there that made up my male name… Danny.I have since thought about changing my name as many girls have done but to be honest I have become quite attached. Maybe later the last name will be changed as I continue my real journey into womanhood.

So there is my little story all stemming from truly ugly beginnings but a seed has to be sown before blossoming i think.Love to all

Thanks Suzzanne, I would like to watch this episode, can you remember what the name of it was?

Why is and do a lot of people here think that because they dress as a female means they are on the road to transition?
A crazy notion in my book as while it certainly is hard to explain as us males are all stuck in a conforming narrow role and can’t truly be ourselves.
We really do need a way to be able to explain and talk to our dearly partners and who are our sexual love mates as well that us Men are human too and we have feelings too.
Dressing up and looking and feeling good is something wonderful that we have found and we are all better people as we have stepped out of our shackles.
Also by telling your loved one you have risked everything but you want to be her equal mate and experience life together
If you need my sort of help I am always here for you.

Continuing on from Sarah and Cali’s comments, I’ve copied below two links. The first is to a speech made by Lana Wachowski recently in San Francisco when the Human Rights Campaign announced that she was the recipient of their “Visibility Award”. I imagine that many of you will have seen this youtube clip already, however I have to admit that I don’t think that I will ever tire of Lana’s message and her exquisite communication skills…

And for those of you who are interested, the second link is to a sequele from the same HRC event – Bishop Gene Robinson thanking Lana for letting people know who she really is:

Seems like the world really is changing around us!
