Tricky stuff. I think I’m with Robin. I’ve tried all the options you’ve listed except “glam” plus “boy-mode” and “girl mode”. I’m not really happy with any of them so I’ll keep switching around depending on my mood and changing language fashions until some term wins the race

I think this is more common than many people think. It’s the route I’ve been on for the last 2 years. I do have one or more outings in girl mode a month to restore my faith in where I am heading but hormones and electrolysis while in boy jeans and shirt are the main deal.

The comments re heat and keeping cool brings tp mind summer evenings in Melbourne many years ago when the heat waves lasted for weeks. Going to group meetings was often an interesting sight as the make-up tended to slide south. Add a wig and padding and ne tended to feel quite warm. A friend informed of a tip she picked up. Using a roll anti=perspirant on the forehead and temples, above the lips etc.
As for Queensland’s summers, they seem to be very interesting at the moment, all that snow looks quite out of place.

Thanks for the antiperspirant tip Claire, that might solve the biggest negative summer brings for me. But having got rid of my body hair, I love showing off my arms and legs. On the other hand I love my boots so I can handle both seasons.

That was a great clip to start my day with. Thanks Sara.

Well maybe form manufacturers don’t produce gravity challenged shapes but then grow your owns are similar. I may be in my 60s but my boobs are just 2 years old. My wife laughingly describes them as “teenage”.

  • This iView thing is brilliant. I just watched Episode 1 of Forbidden Love. I think it was even better than E2, more honest with ups and downs. E2 was a bit Pollyanna. Both well worth watching though.

  • Hi Caty. You beat me by that ..much. I just watched E2 on iview and came on here to recommend it. I’ll have to try E1 now.

According to the SMH of 10 June, police arrested a 23 year old man at Newtown Police Station on Tuesday 9 June and charged him with affray over the alleged bashing. He has been given conditional bail to appear in Newtown Local Court on 9 July. Police called for more witnesses to come forward.

I’ve been a bit of a cynic about Caitlyn but now I’m swinging over to feeling sorry for her. I mean she had a “committee” to select her new name. The poor soul has no control over her life.

Let’s try and keep this thread objective. Ignoring what subjectively you think is right or best; just how does the feeling compare? I guess because the real breasts don’t look (to others) as good then you are confirming the difference in shape is significant to you. What about sensitivity, weight etc? How would you describe in feeling between the two? Is there any?

I think we are trying to compare chalk and cheese because my real ones are smaller and lighter than my old forms. My real ones don’t bounce as much but probably would if they were bigger. Obviously there is virtually no sensitivity from the silicone ones and like Caty when wearing them I needed access to my own nipples from time to time. Cleavage was unsatisfactory with forms and better with my own. Comfort better with my own but silicone was still pretty good. Shape definitely better with silicone.

I’ll ignore my experience with funny little enhancers bought on the internet and jump straight to my first good quality forms bought after a personal fitting to go with my new 18C bras. They fitted into the bra so well that I never felt like they needed gluing on. The bounce was fantastic when I first ran through the traffic to an ATM on the other side. I ran back even though there were no cars just to repeat the experience. Size was right for my chest size too. To me at the time They were “real”.
However I started growing my own and long before they filled a B cup (and they still haven’t properly filled a C cup),I became so enthused with the feel and proud of my success that I stopped wearing forms. OK they don’t look as good/prominent as the forms but they do feel right for me.
So if you’ve never felt real ones don’t worry you’ll never know what you are missing and well fitted forms will be fantastic. If you have grown your own, you won’t need convincing of what is best.

If you think Caitlyn would look like her Vanity Fair shoot if you met her in aisle 6 of Woolworths – then you really are green. Even the shots of her in the video(see above) tell a more realistic story.

But being bitchy is not a good look either. None of us is in a race to be the model of American Hollywood “beauty” – or we shouldn’t be. There is so much more richness to gender diversity than trying to achieve an unachievable standard of “perfection”. It is all about “becoming yourself” – not trying to become some dream or fantasy.

I know. Caitlyn is riding the crest of a wave created by an entire team of professional enhancers and PR planners. I’m not really jealous and the last post by me was in the nature of “self-criticism” (as by the old style communists) designed to improve my future thinking.

I’ve commented substantively on another site about Caitlyn but found myself slipping into a really bitchy mood. I mean she is just two years younger than me and a few months behind me in hormones and she looks like that! No wonder I’m green.

Sorry Carol, I must have missed this. I don’t quite understand your point,
    Claire

I can be a bit cryptic sometimes. Sorry Claire. There was good advice in the article but applying it uncritically to my family situation, there were some things missing and some others missed the point or would have exacerbated problems. I just meant that as with all generalised advice you need to adjust it to your own situation and to your partner’s attitudes.

Well I see the logic in what has been suggested in the link Claire but really you need to pitch your story to suit your audience.
In my case after years of closet crossdressing, as my wife was thoroughly absorbed in her favourite TV show, I walked in and said “You are so involved in that you wouldn’t even notice if I was in a skirt” “Course I would” “Da da”.
That led to laughter and several gorgeous months of shared fun but finally she let me know she was over it and I went back into the closet for 30 years. I came out to her a second time three years ago but that is another story.
