Well resolved Amanda.
I take it Nicole means I.T. will will alter the form by adding ‘other’ or some such option.
I had not realised that the issue was in the way in which we are addressed but now I do.
Through your constructive complaint you have moved us one step closer.
Thank you.

The journey we travel as gender diverse persons will at some time lead us to the HRT quandary. I have observed it in many of my friends and of course in myself.
I am not medically trained or in any way connected to the medical profession but in my research I wondered just how endocrinologists arrived at their prescribed dosages for TG individuals and in fact how they decided on what should be administered and how.
In my layperson’s research I have read of problems related to progesterone, taking oestrogen orally, and of course the osteo, dvt, migraine and increased cancer risk. I wondered of the sample size, the control element of the research and of the accuracy of these findings due to the secrecy and reluctance to speak up often associated with people undertaking this kind of medical treatment.
To learn that most of the findings are attributable to the companies manufacturing the HRT drugs has not comforted me a great deal.
It is enlightening to read the posts that are delivered by people who are of the medical profession, are part of the community and perhaps are considering or have embarked on a HRT regime.
I am more likely to value their experiences and their advice.

Great positive story Amanda.
BTW how did the dress prize turn out?

Hi Caty,
Thanks for the link. I enjoyed watching this as much as I have enjoyed any TG related clip.
Shandi was lovely but I think Cheryl made it extra special for me.
The producers need a special mention too as not one cheap shot in sight.
This is a positive way to introduce ourselves to those we care most about.
Thank you once again.

Hi Stephanie,
I am pretty sure it would be considered normal to be apprehensive.
If you are sure this is right for you just enjoy the feeling knowing you are going to finally be you.
I wish you all the best.

Amanda,
As it is the value received in attending the Transformal weekend is immeasurable.
Economy of scale suggest more attendees would reduce the cost per person but we seem to have reached critical mass so we must work with what we have.
If the cost of the weekend has to rise accordingly then so be it. All things considered, travel cost, wardrobe and accessory costs and the money spent on meals etc while in Katoomba the amount you are suggesting is a small percentage of the overall weekend which would not occur at all without TF.
Let us all budget for a little extra and look forward to great Transformal weekends in the future all thanks to your imagination, foresight and hard work.
Also perhaps we could be a bit more diligent in encouraging our friends to attend. A lot of people I know would gain so much if they would only come along and experience TF with us.
Regards and thanks Amanda,

Dear Erika,
I am not in the least surprised at the lack of knowledge and basic understanding of those who are deemed the experts in the field of transgender care and well being.
The only people who do know, who do really care and do understand in my humble opinion and experience is us. Nobody else – period, over and out.
I long to be proved wrong but fear I will never be.

A seriously interesting subject.
When we meet someone new and do not know much of the other the conversation is initially based on asking questions. Where do you…?, how do you…?, why is this…?, when did you…?, how is your family? etc.
Those we click with respond in kind, listen to the response, remember some of the details and build the friendship. When next we meet the conversation builds on this shared information. Those people become good friends.
When completely one sided it is not much fun.
This applies to all not just people in our community but it does seem rife.

Hi all,
I am really looking forward to seeing Victoria and Gina’s documentary.
Any one know how it is going?

Interesting subject.
I have personally witnessed people volunteer selflessly and take all the negatives on the chin and enjoy their involvement to the full.
I have witnessed others who fall at the first hurdle. It makes me doubt their motives somewhat. Perhaps they should not have been involved in the first place.
It is a bit like lending money. I don’t lend it if I cannot afford to lose it. If I am paid back I consider it a bonus.
Volunteering can be very rewarding – when you do not let the peanut gallery get to you.

Hi Caroline,
Connie is probably so blown away by the beautiful images she cannot bear to part with them, I think.
It will be worth the wait.
Thanks and regards,
Jan.
