Interesting article Bee and thank you for sharing. At least the Thai authorities are prepared to trial a discrete and dedicated facility to incarcerate them. However their lack of access to medications would be traumatising. It would be interesting to know what the incarceration rate for trans folk is in Thailand as one suspects it might be hard for these girls to find work or earn a living legally in mainstream. Thanks for the article Caty. It’s wonderful that we can appreciate the inherent beauty and sensuality in such garments and in a way that only we can. And not just to enviously gaze upon them but to be actually enveloped and encapsulated by them when the mood takes us. And especially so since retro underwear is available online to all these days.

Thanks for another great post Caty. Fascinating insight into an activity I did not know existed. I am sure it lets the dressing genie out of the bottle for a number of the contestants. An activity they are likely to continue with. Also appreciate the significant offline support and advice you have given me of late and despite the distance between us geographically. Highlights the great capacity of this website to assist us interact and share situations we have in common.

I never realised you could actually buy on line and then pick up in the store at your convenience. That’s sounds like a plan. Always something new to learn and I clearly don’t get out enough or read the on line purchase options sufficiently: as I have now done today in respect to Myers. Thanks for the information. Could save a lot of frustration when you are not at home for a delivery and you have to go through the rigmarole of picking your order up elsewhere. Or queuing at the post office. Will certainly try that.

I wholeheartedly agree with Bridgette about online purchasing. The speed of delivery from online retailers that I use such as Ezibuy, Bendon, DeBras et al and their very efficient returns system means you don’t have to go store shopping if you are uncomfortable with that. As many members will attest the online catalogues are now very comprehensive and there is something for everyone. I used to buy footwear from Longline shoes and assume you can still source from there. Expensive but a good fit given their easy measurement template system.
I also agree that buying from the US and or UK is equally effective.
All that said the thrill of buying from a conventional Women’s Apparel store still has a lot of appeal to me but I need to be in an adventurous or courageous mindset to do this. Have done so at times but never brave enough to use the fitting rooms. I certainly admire and indeed envy the girls on this great website who do so.

Yet another push back on Obama’s reported order on use of bathrooms based on gender identity. As is typical of these “orders” they are in this case a Federal Guidance document, and nothus binding. If the Feds in the US are not express in their directions then no one takes these nebulous guidance decrees seriously. The debate in the media, and in this case Texas rejection of this “Guidance” continues. See latest article from news.com.
