for many years, there was a regular meeting at the Coffee Club in West End then it moved to another Cafe but like a lot of things, it has probably faded into the history books

    Hi Christine

I had a look on aliexpress and there is some nice stuff on there. If the heels are pointy toe ones, do you find you have to order a size larger?

    Hi Nikki.

While I don’t know how effective it has been (if at all), when I go to my local gym, I usually always use the machine that supposedly targets the bum to try and add a bit of shape.

    Thankyou for your response Alison

I guess one of the two main ways heat tries to escape your body is through the top of your head and through your feet and if you are putting an extra layer or two on it, it would tend to make it hotter.

I do have trouble finding wigs that fit in general anyway due to the size of my head and while it is tempting to treat myself to a new wig, it really wouldn’t be a good use of money as I hardly dress these days at all and while I would like to go out somewhere (even when there is no global pandemic), I only have myself for company and so I usually don’t bother

one of the many frustrating things about not being able to travel overseas is payless shoes in america (who closed down but they are coming back) carry up to a size 13 in ladies shoes and can do wide widths too but alas, they don’t ship to australia

If I was to buy pointy toe heels, is it a good idea to order half a size bigger than normal or maybe a full size?

I guess having an encounter with a couple of random whackjobs in the immediate area near my home (within 100m) has made me a little gun shy even though I was not in girl mode.
One young girl (about 20) abused the hell out of me for not getting out of her way, then followed me and then took my photo. That is by far the worst one and that was just over a year ago.
Even though she was half my size and age, she was certainly a bully
That wasn’t my neighbours by any means otherwise there would have been all sorts of complaints lodged with relevant authorities.
but this is getting off topic

I guess I will always just have to dream about it even though I have learned through another site that there are companies that sell hats with ponytails attached

I do have human hair wigs but I have found that it seems I would have to use some form of adhesive in order to be able to achieve the effect and I generally only wear wigs for an hour or two at a time and still can’t bring myself to walk past my neighbours all dressed up even though some already know and I really don’t have any social standing to lose through people finding out.
As I have mentioned over the years, unfortunately in order to get to my car, I have to walk past at least 2 other apartments or 4 depending on which way I go. There is no alternative.

just trying to think of alternative ideas.
Things like ten pin bowling, movie trips etc
There is an LGBTQI movie watching social group in Brisbane that meets from time to time on a Monday night but I usually can’t get along to those due to work

Yes Jessica, the café nights are indeed on as far as I know. I am not looking to replace or compete with them, just looking for more options I guess

I live by myself and can go out wherever and whenever I like but I don’t have anyone to go with and the main outlet spot in Brisbane bores me so I usually don’t bother getting dressed up just to sit there and get frustrated. I guess I need an outlet and an excuse

I sent them an email yesterday but just decided to take the plunge and place an order this afternoon.

The owner said that they don’t have much stock left in the shoes. Maybe 1-2 of each one listed on the site
